Two-phase submission :
Papers will be published in a CISBAT 2023 special issue of IOP's JOURNAL OF PHYSICS Conference Series, an open access publication indexed by Scopus, ICI WEb of Science, Ei Compendex etc. (CC BY Licence).
The abstracts will be evaluated by an international expert panel in a double blind review procedure. Their acceptance or refusal will be based on criteria such as quality of content, significance, originality, relevance and clarity of expression. The programming team of the scientific committee will take a preliminary decision on acceptance and the presentation framework of the contributions (oral, poster) based on the reviewers' recommendations and as a function of programming constraints, to be confirmed subject to the full paper meeting expected standards.
Authors of abstracts accepted by the scientific committee (oral and poster presentation) are invited to submit a full paper of up to six A4 pages. The deadline for paper submission is 30 April 2023. Papers will be verified for language, form and content by one reviewer (two at least if rejection or change of presentation mode are considered). All accepted papers will be published in a CISBAT 2023 Special Issue of IOP's JOURNAL OF PHYSICS Conference Series, indexed, among other, in ISI Web of Science, Scopus and EI Compendex , subject to active conference participation of at least one of the authors, payment of the conference fee and acceptance of the terms of the Proceedings Publication Licence (CC BY). IOP Publishers reserve the right to exclude a paper if considered inappropriate. Remote or in-person conference attendance will be possible. In case of travel and convening restrictions such as imposed in 2020, CISBAT 2023 is to be upheld as a virtual conference.
Papers will be presented on-site or remotely during oral and poster sessions.
Posters will receive excellent exposure both on-site and on the hybrid conference platform, which will allow authors to discuss with other participants.
Authors interested in a remote presentation are requested to indicate their preference when submitting the abstract. The presentation mode is to be confirmed at final paper submission.
By submitting a full paper the authors agree that at least one of the authors will be available to present it at the conference. They also agree that the paper can be made available as part of the proceedings on paper, electronic supports and the internet. Authors agree to a CC-BY licence agreement in which they certify among other that the paper contains their original work, and that it has not been published before.
Authors are requested to register for the conference when submitting the paper. The conference fee will be fully refunded should a paper be refused.
Accepted papers will be published online in a CISBAT 2023 Special Issue of IOP's JOURNAL OF PHYSICS Conference Series, an open access and widely indexed journal. Publication is scheduled for 15 November 2023 at the latest.
