The basic conference fees include
- attendance at all plenary and technical sessions
- attendance at SCCER event on 10 September
- visits on EPFL campus
- buffet lunches on 9 and 10 September as well as snacks after the visits of 11 September
- the conference proceedings on a USB stick
- a book of abstracts.
Not included in the basic fee are
- the evening networking event
- the printed version of the proceedings (can be pre-ordered at the conference)
- travel and accommodation costs
Student rates are available to all students including PhD students. The organisers reserve their right to request a proof of student status.
Accompanying persons (non-authors, no documentation, no presentation) are required to register as well; however, they may apply for special conditions by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The conference day programme is very intense and does not leave much time for networking and discussions. We therefore sincerely recommend taking part in the Evening Networking Event (a cruise on Lake Geneva on a beautifully restored Belle Epoque paddle steamer), which should also be very pleasant at that time of the year.
Full payment by credit card at registration (Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard), through secured Swisspost online payment service (EPFL Payonline).
Should you not be in a position to pay by credit card, you may pay by bank transfer. The invoice can be printed out directly once you have registered.
Please note that your registration will only be effective once payment has been received.
All participants - authors and non-authors alike - are required to register and to pay the registration fees. Please note that by submitting a paper the authors agree that at least one of them will attend the conference. Papers for which no author has registered and paid the participation fee by August 8 will not be published even if they have been accepted by the scientific committee.
Cancellation of a conference registration must be made in writing and emailed or faxed to email@example.com / +41 21 693 2722. Paid registration fees are refundable less a processing fee* if notification of cancellation is received (in writing) by August 8, 2015. Unexcused absence or cancellation after August 8, 2015 will result in forfeiture of the registration fee; a substitute registrant will be accepted however.
*) Processing fee: 10 % of the total amount paid.
How to register
To register for the conference and for the evening event, please use the on-line conference management platform, through which you will be able to access all data linked to your conference participation:
1. establish a user account (if you have not already done so during abstract submission)
3. pay online and/or print out and pay invoice within 30 days (presenters: payment receipt required before August 8th)
After-thought registration for the evening networking event is possible depending on availability of spaces. It will be invoiced separately (unfortunately no credit card payment). Please contact Barbara at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
