We are delighted to announce that CISBAT 2027 will be held for the first time in Fribourg, Switzerland, from 25 to 27 August 2027.

Organised by the Smart Living Lab, a joint initiative of EPFL, the University of Fribourg and the School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg (HEIA-FR), the conference will be held on the Pérolles Campus in Fribourg.

Under the chairmanship of Prof. Corentin Fivet, CISBAT 2027 will provide a platform for interdisciplinary exchange on the sustainable transition of the built environment. The conference will focus on its three core pillars Operation, Well-being and Circularity, bringing together innovative research and practical perspectives on operational performance, occupant well-being, circular construction and resource management.

We look forward to welcoming the international CISBAT community to Fribourg for this new edition of the conference.
